The TAIR will hold the "2026 Sixth 1st Annual Conference and International Symposium - School Affairs Research in the AI ​​Era: New Challenges and New Opportunities" and is calling for papers. Teachers and students are welcome to submit papers.

1. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has profoundly influenced the field of institutional research, including transformations in data governance, decision support, learning assessment, and professional roles.
    These have become important issues in higher education governance.Therefore, the Association is holding this conference, in conjunction with the 10th anniversary exhibition, to review past developments,
    envision future directions, and promote domestic and international exchanges, while jointly exploring the challenges and opportunities for institutional research in the AI era.

2. Call-for-papers information for this conference is as follows:

(1) Date: January 16, 2026 (Friday).
(2) Venue: Taipei Medical University (No. 250, Wuxing Street, Xinyi District, Taipei City).
(3) Theme: Institutional Research in the AI Era: New Challenges and Opportunities.
(4) Sub-topics:
1. Admissions and student selection: admissions, evaluation rubrics, school choice assessments, strategies for coping with declining birthrates, etc.
2. Teaching quality assurance and innovations: Higher Education Sprout Project, industry–academia cooperation programs, teaching/learning satisfaction, etc.
3. Institutional governance and management: institutional development evaluations, administrative efficiency, stakeholder communication mechanisms, organizational advancement, IR enhancement, etc.
4. Institutional governance and performance improvement: IR development, institutional data systems, administrative efficiency, etc.
5. International talent cultivation: recruitment of international students, overseas study for domestic students, recruitment of international professionals, bilingual education, etc.
6. Data governance and application: organizational structures, regulations/rules, accountability, information systems, data flow management, etc.
7. Sustainability and educational innovation: sustainability curricula and learning outcomes, sustainable campus planning, evaluation systems and mechanisms, university social responsibility, etc.
(5) Important dates:
1. Abstract submission deadline: from now until November 16, 2025 (Sunday).
2. Notification of review results: December 15, 2025 (Monday).
(6) Submission types:
1. Oral presentation: maximum 4,000 words (approx. 3 pages), including title, authors and affiliations, research background, methodology, findings and discussion, conclusion, and 3–5 keywords.
2. Poster presentation: maximum 500 words, including title, authors and affiliations, research background, methodology, findings and discussion, conclusion, and 3–5 keywords.
