In October 2015, Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT) set up a temporary unit, Office of Institutional Research, to take charge of the institutional research (IR) project of Ministry of Education. The project ended in December 2017. To continue the IR work and provide important analysis results to all directors of teaching and administrative divisions of MCUT for decision-making reference, MCUT established the formal division, Institutional Research Center, in January 2018.
