update date : 2025-05-28

  1. In order to explore university performance evaluation and trends in higher education reform, the Taiwan Association for Institutional Research (TAIR), in collaboration with the College of Education at National Chengchi University, will host a thematic lecture. Professor Shin Jung Cheol from Seoul National University, South Korea, has been invited to share his insights and practical experiences regarding the South Korean government’s strategies for higher education reform and university evaluation.

  2. Since the 1980s, a growing global emphasis on accountability in higher education has led to the proliferation of evaluation systems and ranking mechanisms, reshaping the development of higher education. However, recent years have seen increasing concerns about the design of evaluation indicators and the representativeness of data, prompting many countries to re-examine their university assessment systems.
