Online Seminar Invitation: “Labor Market Analysis—Bridging the Education-Employment Gap through Institutional Research” on September 19, 2025

The Taiwan Association for Institutional Research (TAIR) will host an online seminar titled "Labor Market Analysis: Bridging the Education-Employment Gap through Institutional Research" on Friday, September 19, 2025. We cordially invite colleagues to register and attend the event. Details are as follows:
1. To promote practical exchanges in higher education institutional research and to enhance the application of institutional research in labor market and education-to-employment alignment, TAIR will hold the above-mentioned online seminar on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM.

2. We are honored to invite Dr. Lixia Qin, Senior Policy Analyst at the University of Wisconsin System Office of Policy Analysis & Research, to be the keynote speaker. Dr. Qin will share her practical experiences in labor market analysis and strategic institutional research.

3. Dr. Qin has over 20 years of research experience in both K–12 and higher education in the United States and China. She has published over 30 academic journal articles and monographs, with research focusing on the complex impacts of various policies on education—especially those aiming to enhance educational equity and student development. Her expertise includes large-scale data management and analysis, data visualization, and statistical modeling. She is dedicated to using data-driven strategies to improve the effectiveness of education systems.
